As a Retail System Analyst, you are the connection between the retail business and IT and professionally benefit from both of them. You closely cooperate with the business department, manage requirements and either expertly implement them yourself or prepare them for further processing by the in-house IT. You prepare the ground for optimal interfaces between retail, planning software and connected systems and greatly help any project come to life.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • direct communication with the retail planning department, analysing and translating their business requirements and ensuring successful implementation
  • development and administration of the global retail planning system to improve merchandise planning
  • enabling uninterrupted data flow and steady data quality of all interfaces between planning software and connected systems
  • administration of the global retail price optimisation and supporting IT-related projects
  • coaching colleagues and maintaining access authorizations

Your Profile

  • experience with relevant economic processes in retail eg supply chain management
  • development skills in VBA and SQL
  • Microsoft Excel-lence
  • proficiency in English, written and spoken

Your Nice-To-Haves

  • SAP Retail and SAP BI/BO would be the cherry on top
  • experience with Unix/Linux
